Why do I need a Financial Advisor? |
At many points in life you will be making financial decisions – be they obtaining a mortgage, paying off a credit card bill, paying an overdraft, planning your retirement (you will not always be young!), or even putting aside a part of your income and time each year to plan a luxury holiday! Yes, some of your colleagues, friends or favourite uncle, may be able to give you ideas - but an Independent Financial Advisor is likely to have a lot of information about what is available in the market, and we will be able to help you plan for the bigger picture – long term! |
Why Ragbourne Consulting? |
We will offer you advice in plain English – explaining every complication and every piece of jargon – that you are able to save, clear debt or handle your inheritance/lottery win, with every confidence. At the same time, we charge on a fee basis – rather than taking commission from the supplier – and thus we do not lure you into investing in products that would result in high commission payments for us! We earn our income through fees. |
What about my local Building Society? |
Building Societies, Banks and Accountants – they all have their uses and primary purposes/specialisations – but they are not financial planning and advice. Being Independent, Ragbourne Consulting is able to offer comprehensive unbiased advice in its true sense. |
Who is an “Independent” Financial Advisor? |
An advisor can be tied – employed by and representing one financial company, and as such can only effectively advise on their products. On the other hand, he can be independent – able to search the entire market for suitable products - and, he is employed by you! |
